Micah Zellner - group violin

Micah Zellner is a current undergraduate Student of the Arts at Samford University. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in music. Micah has been studying piano and violin since he was seven and has played in the Suzuki Strings Advanced Ensemble/Orchestra, the Alabama Symphony Youth Orchestra, the Alabama All-State Orchestra, and currently plays for the Samford Orchestra. In addition, he served as the keyboardist for Woodland Baptist Church and has played keyboard for the Hunter Street Baptist Church worship team.

Micah believes that the study of music has an extremely beneficial impact on a student and that it teaches a student many valuable lessons that are applicable to any other field of study. From studying piano and violin for over ten years, he has learned the value of patience, diligence, and the value of hard work, and believes that for any student, studying music should be fun, fruitful, and beneficial to the student.
