Summer Arts Academy 2026

Individual Lessons

Cost: $170 + $5 registration fee for 6 30-minute lessons

Quality individual instruction in piano, violin, guitar and drums is offered by certified instructors. At-home practice is a requirement for individual instrument lessons. Recital participation may be determined by student preparedness. The facts are that if a student practices they will improve. If they do not practice, the opposite will occur. Individual instructors will inform students of their practice policies.

We will offer violin again the fall.

By the end of the first night, students will have an idea of how to take their color and line notes and make them into a mixed media painting on watercolor paper. This camp is a different way to make paintings. It is more about the process of finding something interesting and learning how to use a sketchbook to come up with ideas of paintings.

We will use watercolor, tombow markers, colored pencils, Posca pens, and acrylic paint to layer on top of the watercolor. A woody Stabilo chubby pencil will also be used to take down color and line notes fast.

This camp is for adults 18 and up - 6 spots available

A supply list will be sent to students once they register.
