Charlie YAeger - Piano
Charlie Yaeger is a Hoover native to parents Marc and Misti Yaeger. He is the 5th of 8 children and was always involved with sports and the arts. Charlie began taking lessons at the age of 8 under the tutelage of Susan Berg, whom he learned with until graduation from high school. Coinciding with piano, he also played baseball and was on the varsity team at Evangel Christian School for 3 years. Upon his graduation, Charlie attended Birmingham Southern College as both an athlete and pianist. While playing baseball, he continued to study as a pianist under the teachings of Dr. MiJung Trapenier and Dr Ronald Shinn. He stayed at BSC until its sad closure in May of 2024 but was part of the World Series run made by the BSC Baseball team. Charlie finished his degree in piano performance at Samford University under Dr. Cindy St. Clair and now has a Bachelors degree in Piano Performance (BM). He is currently still at Samford, working on his Masters in degrees in Piano Performance & Pedagogy (MM) under Dr. Ronald Rodriguez-Herrera.
